48 Hours Later

Challenge terms

These summary terms are provided for participants registering through 48hourslater.com. Final challenge rules, dates, required elements, and submission instructions may be issued through the participant dashboard.

Participation

Participants may register as individuals or teams. One person must act as the main contact and is responsible for receiving challenge updates and submitting the completed film.

Original work

Films must be original and created for the challenge. Participants are responsible for securing permission for cast, crew, music, locations, artwork, archive material, and any other rights-managed content.

Submission window

Films must be submitted through the official dashboard before the deadline. Late submissions may be marked out of competition or rejected at the organisers' discretion.

Under 18s

Participants under 18 require parent or guardian consent. Registration is not fully approved until that consent has been received.

Screening and promotion

By submitting a film, participants grant 48 Hours Later and Fear Screen permission to screen, promote, and reference the work in relation to the challenge and related festival activity.
